Bottle . Dark brown colour with a beige head. Hoppy aroma. Sweet caramel and hoppy flavour. Light roasted caramel and bitter finish.

(Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm) Colour is dark brown/mahogany with hints of ruby. Nose is malty, fruity with lots of dark cherries and chocolate. Taste is malty with an alcohol sweetness, toffe and chocolate. Quite bitter and hoppy finish. Very nice and wintery. Probably cellarable for a lot more than 2 years.

Clean dark brown color; thin creamy head. Aroma of malt, caramel, roses, Full mouthfeel, malty, with toffee and a lot of caramel, ending with a good hopping (strong and partially resinous), and light roasted malt and roasted nuts. Original. Solid. Dangerous.

I expected a rich and sweet beer. This beer is neither but still good. Aroma is surprisingly coffee and oatmeal. Dark brown with a thick white head. Very dry flavor, very much like a bitter or malty brown ale. Dry in the finish as well. Alcohol is hidden.

Bottled. Dark amber/ruby red colour, mediumsized beige head. Strong malty nose with some fruitish notes. Flavour is ryeish, maltish and a bit bitterish. Also some coffee is found. Quite pleasant and wellbalanced.

Dark ruby red, small expresso head. Coffee nose, a bit rye and barley in it. Medium-bodied, roasted, a bit ryeish flavor with some cold coffee in it. Hides alcohol perfectly.

Translucent mahogany pour with light tan head. Malty aroma of nuts and toffee. The flavor is multi-layered starting with sweet malts of caramel and brown sugar and then hints of citrusy orange and raisins. The flavor gives way to resiny hop bitterness that sticks with a long finish. The ale is medium bodied and soft on the palate. The alcohol is somewhat subdued, but still noticable. Very drinkable - and enjoyable - winter ale.

Amber colour with a tan head. Malty and nutty aroma with hints of dark fruits. Warming malty flavor with caramel, bread, toffee and some dark fruits too. Very nice warming malty aftertaste.
