ACBF 2017. Thank you for sharing kraddel, tderoeck, Travlr & friends. Sampled draft. Deep amber orange, little tanned head. Nose is strange, wet dog note, stale malts, oxidation, the sherry barrel, bit metallic. Taste is alcoholic sugar, bit stale, feels touch empty, finish is big on the sherry, soap, sweet sherry sugar, leaves. Body is bit empty, sugar, sweet. Doesn’t fully come together, some odd notes.

Sampled from tap at ACBF 2017. Slightly hazy, golden amber with a beige head. Sweetish, slightly sourish, a bit fruity aroma of caramel, honey, lemon, oak and some leather. Very sweet, malty and a little sourish taste of caramel, honey, lemon and oak, followed by a long, slightly bitter, a bit tart, slightly dry and warming-alcoholic finish. Medium to full body, slightly oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice!

Clear amber to orange beer, small creamy white head, unstable, little adhesive. Aroma: fruity, acidic, bit malty. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty chemical, sweet, lots of alcohol, bitter, paint thinner, not a fan. Aftertaste: bitter, some tannins, sugary.

Alkoholischer, leicht hefig süßer Antrunk. Eher geringe Würzigkeit, zu starke Süße. Okay. 10/6/7/6//6

Pours dark, rather clear amber. looks very thick. Small white ring of foam. Smell is rich malty, bit bitter (very mild) clear oakyness, some sherry notes. Taste is full, sharp, sherry, oak. Nice malty back. perhaps could have used more intensity of the basebeer, now the sherry is lying on top of it. yet all the tastes itself are nice, just not ’blended’ enough to eachother. Decent MF ( expected a bit more thickness, but still ) low carbo as it should. Nice
