Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours dark brown/plum, almost black, with no foam. Aroma is of coffee and licorice. Body is thin, with no carbonation. Very smooth. Taste is moderate roasty. Final is clean and dry. Overall, very easy-drinking.

Nitro at the Polka Hop, Wakefield. Mid- to dark brown, quite translucent with a small tight beige head. Metallic aroma, roast malt, little bit kf chocolate, little bit of Marmite. Sweet-ish taste with some yeasty umami leading to a more bitter finish. Light body, lightly carbonated. A reasonable dry stout.

Bottled@Björntasting 2018. Deep brown colour, small white head. Aroma is lactic, mild toasted and some slight wooden motes. Flavour is floral, wooden, some lactic and mild toasted notes with a wee bit of ashes too.

On tap @Birrifugio Trastevere (Rome). Bruna intensa, schiuma ecrù media, discretamente persistente. Al naso note di malti tostati, caffé, cioccolato fondente. In bocca è caffettosa, appena dolce all'attaco, con chiusura amara, secca. Corpo medio-leggero, carbonazione leggera. Non male.
