33cl can at Black Sheep Arms, Visby. Pours pitch black with a modest, beige head. Toasty aroma with notes of dark, dried fruits, dark chocolate, wood and hops. Medium sweet with rather high flavour intensity and a balanced bitterness. Quite enjoyable.

330mL bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out harsh black liquorice, soy sauce, and medium roast. Flavour is burnt and soy sauce-like, with burnt roast, soy sauce, meat and liquorice. Rough and uncoordinated. Not great.

Nattsvart vätska som bästs beskrivs som inget ljus undkommer denna dryck. Sädig arom och toner av rostad malt och kaffebönor. Rejält söt maltighet och med inslag av salt lakrits. Mycket värmande med lång eftersmak.

Bottle at Ratebeer München Tasting Tuesday 31st January 2023. Pours black with a slim light tan head. Soft moutheel, sweet liquorice, despite the sweetness this is surprisingly roasty and bitter, good.

Bottle, many thanks Nische! Brown color with beige head. Aroma is sweet berries, iodine, some smoke, chocolate. Taste is again iodine, chocolate, peat, some green apple phenols. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Not bad!

Bottle 33 cl. 10% ABV in my version. Pours an opaque black with a huge and dense, light brown head. Sweet, roasty nose with a vanilla touch. Solid body if not exactly heavy, distinct English licorice, lightly salty with a malt bitter finish. Straight Stout to the salty licorice side. 171022

Black as hell in the glass. Fair enough tan head. Ends up a bit to fast as a layer Ok intensity in the aroma Balanced sweetness and an unusual acidity It did actually lift this one All hells breaking loose Mellow fine carbonation level Dark malt, hell, chocolate, belsebub, fruity, licorice and some Allah in the flavor [Bottle from Systembolaget in Sweden]
