Level 42 bottleshare. Santa is flying past and below! Hazy deep amber - brown beer, good cream colour head. Strong vanilla ice cream on the nose, lesser bourbon. Softish palate, smooth with reasonable fine carbonation. Soft malts blend well with a good creamy vanilla sweetness. Fruity bourbon. Surprisingly bitter woody undertone. Light semi dry finish. Tasty number and less sweet than I was anticipating.

Bottle at level 42 Xmas tasting, care of Kenny. It pours cloud mahogany brown with a thick, foamy beige head. The aroma is soft, sweet, sticky, vanilla fudge, toffee, tapioca, wood, boozy fruit cake, dried fruits and some coconut. The taste is slick, sweet, sticky toffee pudding, wood, booze, leather, vanilla, toasted coconut, cocoa, dried fruits and fruit pie with a warming finish. Full body and fine carbonation. Actually not as sweet as it could have been. A pretty nice sippin ale.

Sample during the "Bob’s Private Bottle Share" on 11/21/2016. Ruddy copper color with a medium off-white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lacing. Malt, bourbon and vanilla aromas. Full-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, oaky bourbon, brown sugar and vanilla. The finish is moderately boozy with an oaky vanilla and malt aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Bottle share in London - thanks to Kenny. Pours clear golden-brown with a creamy topping. The one has some vanilla extract, toffee, bread. Medium to big sweet flavour with chewy creamy vanilla, more toffee. Full bodied, chewy and oily, with fine carbonation. Finishes with notes of marshmallows, more creamy vanilla, caramel, bread. Good dumb Bruery beer.

Bottle split at L42 Xmas murder scene, thanks to Kenny ... UK Bruery Rep, 19/12/16. Rich mahogany brown with a decent beige cap. Nose is sweet malts, fruit loaf, toffee melt, vanilla creme, peanut notes. Taste comprises sweet tinges, caramel, vanilla, brioche, toasted brown sugars, pralines. Full body, fine carbonation, sweet closure. Decent strong affair ... not so sure I’d class as a BW but fun enough.
