Bottle. Pretty red-purple with a low, thick head. Funky nose, blackberry, citrus, leather, horse blanket. Fruity and lactic flavor, bretty, berries, lemon, leather. Nice stuff. Not as sour and acetic as Cascade can be. Maybe because of the age.

750ml bottle, 2014 vintage. Pops open with a small gush. Violet/ ruby body, fizzy head. Tart, funky aroma with berries on the back end. Taste hits with both sweet and tart simultaneously. Big berry/ jelly jar flavors with a sharp pucker that will leave you licking your gums. Ages well.

New Beer Distributors, New York City bottle at the liquidation sale: bright red type of situation with a fizzy head. Aroma is vinegar, woody, blackberry or some other berry. Light sweetness. The age did not make it much sweeter. Quite sour.

75CL. How have I now had this one? Pinkish Purple Appearance. Smells insanely sour like a nectarine and grapefruit aroma. Holy moly, this is sour. Like biting into a lemon with chalk, blackberry jam, juicy fruit and vinegar. remaining flavor is all oak.

Thank you kraddel! 750 ml. bottle sampled @ "Adam Chandler Visiting (for real this time)" Tasting. 2014 Vintage. Dark berry red, head fizzes away. Nose is mellow vinegar, blackberry skins, acidic, blueberry pulp with vinegar qualities. Taste is puckering medium vinegar blackberries, acidic, acidic vinegar. Too carbonated, some vinegar fizzy. Not the best Cascade but a decent USA Vinegar forward sour, bit too fizzy. Simple but not bad.

Little cloudy rusty red brown beer, small creamy off-white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: acidic, vinegar, fruity, funky. MF: no carbon, medium body. Taste: lots and lots of vinegar, mouth puckering, some lemon juice, some tannins. Aftertaste: same, very dry, slightly fruity in the finish, mainly vinegar.
