Shared at the 2010 RBSG Grand Tasting. Poured dark blueberry purple with a brown head. Aroma had a bit of sweet grain but lots of dark berries, particularly blackberry. Flavor began with sweet grains but both sweet and tart black berries quickly took over.

Courtesy of HOPSHUNTER. It pours mahogany with rose hues and tan head. The aroma is inviting with sweet and spiced apples, yeasty spices, berry notes and growing tartness on a deep pull. The taste has pleasing notes of spices and red apple then picking up pear notes as well as sweet berry and growing tartness. It gets Brett like from time to time and it ends refreshing.
