Inspired by London's most famous beer style, Fuller's imperial-strength take on this 19th-century favourite. With a complex malt make-up, this beer offers the smoky, mocha flavours of our classic London Porter. The addition of black treacle to the brew brings with it a sumptuous layer of velvety caramel, which nicely offsets the hop bitterness. This Limited edition beer is brewed to mature, with its flavours developing over time. Bottle conditioned, a natural sediment will form - so store upright and pour carefully.

Black with a minimal light brown head. A coffee aroma with some caramel candy and some wooden barrels sense. Sweet with a warm coffee and caramel end. Like! One of my favourite brew does it again. Bb 11.2029

Creamy tan head stayed on a rich near black still body. Malt, demerara & raisin aroma. Full bodied, smooth & sticky on the palate with a lighter clean back. Sweet berries, malt, demerara lactose, boozy dark spirits, liquorice & Christmas cake tastes. What an amazing beer!

Bottle shared in Canary Wharf, London - many thanks to Cloin. Pours clear brown with a bubbly, tan head. Nicely balanced, lightly roasty, with notes of dry chocolate, light earthy bitterness, a bit of British yeast. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finiehs with notes of well toasted brown bread, aged berries. Very nice.

Thanks to Cloin for the bottle. Almost clear dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth light palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Soft dark malts, a light fruity tang. Smooth finish. Nothing special but does have bagloads of the Fullers drinkability.
