12 oz can from a six pack, from Growler Guys CDA. Aroma is coconut, citrus peel, dank, passionfruit. Pours nearly clear golden with a bone-white head that doesn't last. Taste has a high pithy bitterness with some light caramel malt sweetness alongside; flavors of citrus and tropical fruit with some light bready malt in the mix. This is a great beer and should always be a standard bearer of the West Coast IPA style.

On tap at restaurant, Portland, Oregon. Has a hazy dark orange colour with small light beige head. Fruity aroma of grapefruit, grass, pine and pineapple. The flavour is similar with grass, grapefruit, pine and pineapple. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a medium bitterness. A hoppy IPA with fruity undertones.

One of the go to ready IPAs. Looks ordinary but has a wonderful parklike aroma of pine and herb. Easy drinking body with a flavour all over your tongue. Lasting hop finish.

32oz crowler shared at RBBWG 2017, thanks for sharing.

Somehow I noted this down as Prefunk Pellet Jack??? Good, just off-white head over hazy golden-amber beer. Nice catty rosewater hops, bit cheesy/valerian. Catty hops, cakebottom (from a good bakery), rosewater. Hopoil slick, but nowhere thick or syrupy. A classic IPA, in the good sense of the word.

Growler can shared by buckeyeboy at RBBWG. Moussy, snow white, largely stable head over a light hazy golden blonde beer with warmer peachy hue. Aroma of withering flowers, dank ’urine’-like hoppiness, lime juice, orange zest, soggy cereals, passion fruit, spruce resin, pink grapefruit. Soft but lush fruitiness, sweet-and sour passion fruit and soapy starfruit, softish carbo, fluffy and lightly soapy mouthfeel; cereally malt basis with a sweetish caramelly edge, supporting a long, beautifully aromatic hop finish with exotic fruit (mango), ’bright green’ young spruce shoots, refreshing citrus peel and tropical flowers rising up retronasally. More than decent New England style IPA - which is gradually overpowering the American IPA world from coast to coast, it seems - with a lovely aromatic profile and soft bitterness much more than the ’harsher’ and spicier West Coast hoppiness.

Thank you BuckeyeBoy! 946.35 ml. crowler sampled @ RBBWG VI (2017). Apparently brewed middle of nowhere according to the RB description. Amber orange, creamy white head. Nose is pine orange, peach, mildly dank, pleasant fruity hops, mango. Taste is thick orange peel, mellow pine herbal, peach, mango, fruity substantial body, low bitterness. Body is easy drinking mango. Simple, hop juice easy drinking affair. Fun stuff.
