It's Broadside, but not as you know it! Aged in ex-bourbon barrels with some cherries inside, this limited edition beer is a taste explosion of oak, cherries, whisky and a touch of rhubarb. Cheers!

At a tasting, many thanks, 2015 bottle, almost no head, clear deep brown color, red fruit and vinous aroma with some red wine, flavor of fruit vanila and caramel, very nicely balanced sweet and sour. Really good and highly enjoyable.

Bottle at Craft Islington, thanks to Kenny. It pours darkest ruby with a bubbly white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, chewy, cherry, plum, blackcurrant, fruit cake, vanilla, oak, coconut and vimto. The taste is slick, bitter, earthy, wood, black tea, mild astringency, tannin, fruit cake, plum, dark berry, vimto and jam with a drying finish. Full body and fine carbonation. Rich and interesting. Decent stuff.
