330ml bottle in 13i a sports bar with a decent beer list in Valkenburg, on 3rd November 2025. Almost clear golden orange body, white crust on top. Semi sweet in nature, subtle honey notes, floral hints and all a bit strange really. Some herbal traces within too.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, amber colour with average to huge, frothy, osteoporosing, moderately lacing, off-white head. Sweet-ish, floral aroma, notes of honey, floral honey. Taste is sweet, floral and mildly bitter hoppy, minimally diluted notes of honey, petals; bitter, floral finish with alcoholic overtones.
Watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium, prickly to lively carbonation.
More diluted honey than beer, a tad disharmonious, imbalanced, too bitter - not really convincing.

8/XI/24 - 33cl bottle as a gift, shared @ Efteling huisje, BB: 24/X/24 (2024-1194) Thanks to Marc for the bottle!

Clear orange beer, big solid creamy off-white head, pretty stable, a little adhesive. Aroma: sweet impression, lots of banana, a bit fruity, oxidized, honey, almonds, some marzipan. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots and lots of creamy slightly crystallised pale yellow honey, soft bitterness, a bit oxidized, some almonds. Aftertaste: more honey, a little spicy, pretty dry, sugary touch, a little bitter, some coriander, ok but not great.

0.33 l bottle from 'Carrefour' (Maasmechelen), best before August 2023. Almost, orangeish amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, quite floral, slightly fruity, a bit yeasty aroma of honey, sultanas, dried apricot and elderflower with a touch of clove. Quite sweet, malty, gently bitter, rather floral, slightly fruity taste of lots of honey, clove, sultanas, some dried apricot and a touch of orange peel, followed by a medium long, gently bitter, quite yeasty-spicy finish. Medium to full body, rather effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Tasty ale, one of the first honey beers I really enjoyed.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg.
Dark golden with a white head. Yeasty honey aroma. Sweet taste with a medium bitter finish. Nice enough for a honey beer.
