Bottle 0.5l at home, Nivala. BBE 12112020. Thanks to...probably Jefverstate, can’t remember for sure. Color is slightly cloudy brown with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Spices, mint, Christmas spices, cinnamon, bread, some caramel and malts. First I thought carbonation level is too high but after couple of sips it is settling and palate is good for this style of beer. Drinkability pretty good but some medicine elements are bad. Still nice surprise. Quite soft.

Bottle share at RBBWG 2017, thanks for sharing. BB 12/11/2020.

Sampled at the RBBWG2017 . Thnx for sharing, everyone ! Pours rather unclear, earthy brown, small white head. Smell is spiced. Taste is rather bitter, mild cardamon-like peppery notes. has a ’fleshy’ undertone. OK .

Amber-brown beer with a medium, off-white rim. Caramel, toffee, sparandrap, faintly spicy. More caramel, dry coffeecookies, liquorice, fully dessicated old dried fruit; Medium bodied, slick and a bit sticky. I expect better from the Pajottenland.

Thank you jefverstraete! 500 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBWG VI (2017). BBF 12/11/2020. Dark brown amber, off-white head. Nose is sweet herbal licorice, kitchen spices, cloves, licorice, BE dark fruits, largely licorice. Taste is licorice, cloves, spices, sweet sugar, bay leaf, BE dark fruits, sticky malts. Body is cloves & licorice. Huge on the licorice & kitchen spices, decent for what it is. Wonder what oak they used for the Oak Aging, not licorice root I hope?
