Bottle shared with Mrs Scopey. It pours clear golden with a small white cap. The aroma is bright, zingy, sour quince, lemon sherbet, pear skin, funk, gooseberry, sour candy, some funk, hay and oak. The taste is dry, crisp, puckering, zingy, lactic, sour quince, pear, gooseberry, white grape, lemon - lime, sherbert, bright and fruity, some light tannin, funk and sour candy with a drying, fruity finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Bright, sour, fruity and quenching. Tasty stuff.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at the brewery taproom. Pours clear yellow-gold with a modest, creamy white head. Holds impressively bracing acidity, with light sweetness, biting lemon tartness, nips of funk and pale wood. Light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Quenching finish, tart and dry, with a little grassy bitterness, more lemony tartness, sturdy acidity. Excellent.

Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Pleasantly tart, a kinda overripe lemon sherbet. Wet wood underneath. Quince comes through before a tangy tart finish. Nice, could be punchier in the quince department perhaps, but it's refreshingly zingy.
