Shattered Paradigm is borne of the shared love of hefty coffee beers and bright, juicy Black IPAs. Black Iris sourced Ethiopian Dumerso beans, for their blueberry and stone fruit flavours. To compliment this, we've chosen Mosaic, Citra, Amarillo and Vic Secret hops to mirror and elevate the beans. The result is a rich and juicy Black IPA married with an unfamiliar, but welcome, smooth coffee hit.

440ml can. Black with a thick beige head. Aroma of coffee, dark berries, pine, citrus peel. Taste of dark berries, bitter coffee, chocolate, citrus peel, pine. Medium body. Hoppy but with enough coffee/malts for balance, strong bitterness. Decent.

Can at home in the garden, Easter Monday 2020. 13th April. Pours a deep black bipa with an off white head. Aroma is coffee, brewery fresh hops, roasted malts. Taste is beautifully blended, bitter coffee bean and cocoa, citrus pith, grapefruit, dark chocolate. Fantastic Black IPA, really like the coffee element here, which works really well, without over powering

Can shared at home with my girlfriend. Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is that of good black IPA with intense forest aroma, blueberry, pine, herbal hops aromas. Lovely Ethiopian coffee comes through. Dark malts in the background. Medium body. Flavour is malty, bitter and somewhat sweet. Dark chocolate malts dominate, with a decent roastiness. Lovely light roast Ethiopian coffee, lots of blueberry, light fruitiness. Very foresty! Finishes bittersweet and with coffee and chocolate. Lovely! So drinkable!

Can from Hoptimism. Low key aroma - there's coffee in there, just. Murky black. Foamy beige head. Medium-heavy bitterness. The hoppy edge is taken a notch down by the coffee. Dsrk berries. Some coffee creaminess into the finish. Light-medium bodied. But a creamy mouthfeel. Average carbonation. Astringent finish. Enjoyable clash of herbs and hops.

Op tap bij LiB'20. Zwart, beige kraag. Aroma van tabak, gebrande noten, koffiebonen, droog, iets van grapefruit. Smaak is heftig, volle bak tabak en koffiebonen, pure chocolade, geroosterde smaken, bloemige hop, ferme bitterheid die lang uitvloeit. Medium body. Goed.
