Bottle, thanks Palle! Golden, low white head. Bitter grassy hops, light metal, medium body, chewy, a bit catty, metallic. A bit oldschool german pils.

Bottle, thanks Palle! Light clear golden. Lightstruck, cattie fishy. Front heavy, thin sour, flat, soapy. It is something. Whatever it is, I don't think (hope...?) it is supposed to be like this.

Ziegco Pils, hergestellt für Ziegler-Bräu, Fläschchen von Rewe, Mainburg. - Goldgelb, blank. - Recht schwache Nase mit ranzig-scharfer, zart schwefeliger Hopfenbittere mit blasser Zitronenschale. - Antrunk schlank hellmalzig mit überdeutlicher heller Malzsüße und recht derber, unkrautiger Herbe ohne feinere Hopfenaromen. Gut rezent, schlank & trocken. (10.5.2022.)

Bottle picked up from REWE, Mainburg. Drinking this at home Saturday 28th March 2020 (11th day of self isolating with Kostas living with us) listening to Gilles Peterson on 6Music and getting ready to cook Pastisio. Pours light/mid gold with a white head. Crisp solid Pilsner, a little mineral edge and a little metallic twang, dry, fruity, really likeable.

Bottle (thanx to Q.D.!): Clear, pale golden to golden, small white head with a little lace; mineralic-metallic nose with an aromatic hoppy touch; dry bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, quite soft MF; short aromatic dry finish, rounded by some pale malt. O.K., but one would expect more from a Pilsener brewed in the centre of the Hallertau..........

(33cl bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Light-sweet malty nose with a tinge of grains and grassy hops. Bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a crispy, almost fizzy carbonation. Soft malty, slightly grainy taste with grassy hops and herbal notes, leading into a dry and initially metallic bitter hoppy finish. Average (14.V.09).

bottle, bought at the brewery. Clear pale yellow colour, mid-sized head. Shy hoppy nose. Grainy and malty with aromatic and bitter hops. Slightly dusty with a shy fruity sourness in the background. Mild and not as hoppy as expected but nevetrtheless a nice brew.

Test vom 12.1.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 6,4,4,8,5,3
