Sampled from 0.33 l bottle at RBBSG 2016 in Evergem. Very dark brown to black with a light brown head. Roasty-malty aroma of coffee, dark chocolate and hazelnut. Sweetish-malty, moderately roasty taste of dark chocolate, coffee and dark ripe fruits, followed by a long, quite roasty-bitter, a little warming-alcoholic finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very nice!

Thank you for sharing! 330 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBSG V. Black with a solid dark mocha head, classical & pleasant looking beer. Coffee in the nose is unfortunately very vegetable, herbal licorice notes with some charred herbal coffee & bread. Body is thin, fizzy & grainy. Taste is overly vegetable coffee, thin vegetable, herbal, fizzy grounds. Not a success for me. Funny that whilst I appreciated their far more odd sounding “Hoppy Dark Gose” this far more conventional & easy pleasing beer fell flat for me.
