0.5 l bottle from Vormann Brauerei. Clear, pale golden orange with a thin, soapy, quickly diminishing, white head. Fruity-smoky aroma of smoked ham, charcoal and pear. Sourish, fruity-smoky taste of smoked ham, charcoal, rhubarb and pear. Short, sourish and tart finish. Thin to medium body, slightly astringent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Interesting, quite enjoyable but not that great. Combining smoke and fruit (and acidity) does not fully convince.

Bottle. Pours burnt orange white head. Nose/taste of charred pear, smoked wheat, meaty smoke, light sour wheat and pear juice - medium body.

Dark golden body, with a medium, creamy, white head.
Aroma mostly of bacon, salt and a subtle fruity sourness.
Taste is sour and salty, with bacon and sour fruits.
Light mouthfeel with a low carbonation.
Finishey smokey, sour, salty.
Good and unique, but also a bit one-dimensional. My first Lichtenhainer style beer, interesting smoke and sour mix, but not something I would often drink.

Sampled @ Braukunst Live München 2015 Leicht trübes goldenes Bier mit sehr wenig Schaum. Geruch rauchig, fruchtig. Geschmack rauchig, Schinken, säuerlich, Kraut.

Provided by Bierkompass (I think). yellow hazy color, very little white head. big smoky aroma, smells of bacon and malt. smoke notes too dominating to smell much else. light to medium body, very nice bubbly sour start, champagne like very light fruity, smoke notes take over very quickly though, bacon, citric, bubbly, dry / smoked finish. interesting, I liked the bubbly sour start, not so much the smoke notes. for the pears ... i did not find them.

Sehr weicher, minimal säuerlicher Antrunk mit süßlichen fruchtigen Rauchnoten. Sehr süffig und erfrischend, die Säuerlichkeit bleibt auch weiterhin im Hintergrund. Gut. 10/12/12/12/10/12
