Bottle from Bierboom, Bruges. Probably expired but no BB date. Gusher! Pours hazy ochre/orange with a lasting, big, foamy, white head; some lacing; little sediment. Aroma of iron, sourdough, yeast, overripe, almost mouldy apple & orange, lemon zest, white bread, vague soap & spoiled yoghurt. Taste is light fruity sweet, notes of overripe orange & green apple, yeasty & juniper-like sour, supported by a weak bready malty base; light spicy bitter middle has coriander, clove & pepper, touch of honey & something vaguely soapy & yoghurty. Dryish, grassy hoppy finish, lingering apple, spices, yeast. Medium body, slick texture, lively carbonation. Unusual 'winter beer' to say the least, and not very enjoyable at that.

20/II/17 - 33cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent) @ home - BB: n/a (2017-191)

HUGE GUSHER ALERT! Went flying everywhere, all over the table, notebooks, people sitting at the table, lamp above the table. Goddammit Gaverhopke, just when I though you had your shit together again, the infections start all over again. Seriously...
Clear pale orange to blond beer, small irregular head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: sweet, banana, hint of vanilla, not bad actually... MF: no carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet and sugary, lots of yeast, ripe banana. Aftertaste: unpleasant bitterness, sugary, bit yeasty. Average flavour.

Zeer levendig donkergeel bier met veel stevig schuim. Smaak is zoet kruidig met iets van koriander en citrus, kruidnagel niet echt kunnen ontdekken. Komt wat waterig over helaas.

Taste is rotting butter, grain, sugar, grainy, butter, spoiled. Body is butter & grain. Poor, likely spoiled. Another poor beer from these guys.
