I’ve been trying to hunt this down and finally found it at the Iing’s Head in Poole. I can confirm that this is a solid ale if your ferret needs a drink.

Cask ale, half-pint at Ship & Shovell. Shared with Finn. Off-white, bubbly head, lacing rings down the glass, clear, deep mahogany coloured body. Moderate smell of dusty hops and caramel malts. Well balanced malt-fruity flavours, hints of peaches and mid-sweet malt. Rounded and clean bittersweet tail. Nice. (London, 30.09.2023).

Cask at the Anchor, Wisley. Cakey fruit and caramel aroma. Light brown. Thin bubbly off-white head. Sour berry edge to a malty core. Some bitterness into the finish. Just didn't taste fresh. Light-medium bodied Thin if slick. Flat carbonation. Low key astringent finish. Not a good cask bitter, may not have been kept well. The main facet was the sour edge that just grew in prominence. Otherwise bland.

On tap at brewery tap. It’s a hard beer to rate, in that everything is all very subdued in exchange for incredible drinkability. Ultimately, it’s a little bitter, a little crystal malt taste and really very pleasant. Not something to ring up all your friends to tell them about, but very easy to spend an afternoon on.
