On tap at brewery tap. It’s a hard beer to rate, in that everything is all very subdued in exchange for incredible drinkability. Ultimately, it’s a little bitter, a little crystal malt taste and really very pleasant. Not something to ring up all your friends to tell them about, but very easy to spend an afternoon on.

Deep golden color with a white head. Floral hoppy and light caramel aroma. Mild sweet caramel flavor with a fresh hoppiness. Soft to average carbonation.

Cask at the Hornbrook, Horsham, West Sussex. Tawny brown with a loose white head; rather thin with a sweet caramel flavour and a touch of fruit; some light, rather earthy bitterness. Overall a rather plain and boring bitter.

Cask. Dark golden, clear ale with no head. Weak, malty aroma. The flavor is more on the fruity side, with caramel and malt as well. Thin body and a malty finish with some fruityness. (060712)
