From tap at Bierfestival Groningen 2017. Aroma is tons upon tons of coffee, dark roasted malt, chocolate, espresso, coffee beans, with some liquorice. Flavour is medium sweet and bitter. Body is quite full and rich. Wonderful coffee Speedway variety, just delicious.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some good amount of lacing. Aroma of super nice floral coffee notes with some black chocolate and roasted malt notes is quite enticing. Taste is also dominated by one of the best floral coffee notes that I have tasted with some great notes of roasted malt and black cholate notes with no discernible bitterness. Body is full with great carbonation. This brewery keep exceeding my expectations.

Dark brown. Rich, deep espresso nose. Mellow chocolate, rich coffee. Moderate bitterness, lots of roast, more mild chocolate accents, finishing again with the espresso character that really drives this beer. Balanced.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours dark brn/blk with a tan head. Excellent coffee aroma. There’s an earthy tang in this coffee. Med + body or better. Flavor is excellent coffee, a bit earth, and there’s something like a green/herb hint. Malt is dark and somewhat treacly. Obviously the coffee is very superior. Not too undry; coffee bitter; this could replace morning coffee. :)

Bottle [from trade] @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. Opaque pitch black color, medium sized brown to dark brown colored head. Aroma is malts, dark and roasted malts, heavy espresso and coffee. Taste malts, coffee, roasted malts, espresso, malt and coffee espresso bitter. Lovely. Do understand where people get the acetone notes, but I get them only slightly and think it's mostly the heavy espresso. I like it. Lovely.

Bottle @ benzai, celebration his 17.000th rating. Black colour with a medium sized light brown head. Smells very roasty, coffee, some walnut, slight acetone smell if I inhale deeply. Tastes amazing chocolate, roasty, coffee, sweet. Amazing taste. Smells is a bit harsh. Full body, soft carbo. Nice.
Not my favourite coffee character. Green bell pepper forward. Light black olives.

On tap. Pours black with moderate tan head. Aromas of rich ground coffee, nutty chocolate, vanilla, and roasted malts. Rich flavours of coffee, bitter dark chocolate, chicory, sweet vanilla and creamy smooth roasted malts. Great stuff.
