Honey blonde, big frothy head. Lemon, soap and pepper in the aroma. Hoppy, oily citric flavor. Malty, creamy bit a bit on the thin side. Strong hoppy citric aftertaste. Very well made, this beer, the rough edges have rounded well.

Sampled @ ZBF 2016. (Thank you for sharing RB people!) Hazy golden / orange, off-white. Nose is rotting spoiled spices, nasty, ginger, tad empty. Taste is spoiled water, lemonade, bad lemonade, rotting soap, sugar. Milky yeast. Yikes.

One of the more recent Brootcoorens beers, with very strong gushing, even minutes after opening the bottle, the foam still seeps out; I nevertheless managed to capture a snow white, sticky head over an ochre blonde beer carrying some distasteful, almost solid protein flakes. Fruity aroma, sourish, grainy, lemon, unripe peach, pineapple, apple peel, old ’jenever’, coriander, fresh rhubarb, grass, sour yoghurt. Neutral onset with the expected sharp carbonation, pale malts, citrus freshness, juniper berries (effectively used) clearly noticeable like in the abovementioned ’oude jenever’, sourish touch, coriander, light peppery hoppiness, warming alcohol in the finish. Probably infected but still enjoyable.

75cl bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. Clear golden color, virtually no head. Smell and taste weirdness, nail polish, yuk. Oh this is unbelievable. Horrible, absolutely horrible. Drainpour.

Bottle @ benzai. Clear golden yellow colour with a small white head. Smells nailpolish, esters, anti-nailbiting pollish. Tastes lots and lots of malts, dried corn, cattlefeed, ’wijnbal’. Nope. Thin to medium body, soft carbo.

31/VIII/13 - 75cl bottle from Willems (Grobbendonk) @ Cybu's chili cook-off - BB: XI/2014 (2013-818)

Clear orange beer, fizzy white head, dissipates immediately. Aroma: lemonade, orange peel, bit chemical, rubber and band-aid, metallic. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: unpleasant bitterness, lots of band-aid, orange peel, lemonade, hay. Aftertaste: bit chemical, lots of orange peel, pretty nasty.
