500ml bottle. Poured a clear yellow golden colour with a lasting frothy white head and plenty of champagne bubbles. The aroma is malt, cardboard yeast. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a crisp, light, watery, light woody hop bitter palate. Light bodied with lively carbonation.

500ml bottle from Pontypool Tesco. Clear pale golden amber appearance, nicely frothy white head. Gentle buttery pale malt nose. Crisp introduction with buttery sweet malt, grain and some grassy hop moments. Clean and nicely presented. Good Welsh llager.

500ml bottle bought at N.D. John Wines Merchants Ltd, shared with Finn. Frothy white head, next to clear pale golden body, spotty lacing. Distant floral nose. Taste of pale malts and noble hops, mid-dry. Hints of dry bitterness to the short ending. Straightforward. (Hotel room, Swansea 01.10.2018).

Pigs Ear. The Long Good Friday teamed up with ChrisO. Hazy gold beer, small but tidy white head. Palate is light and dry, slightly crisp. Fresh malt, indeed - a little lagerish. Mild minerals. Okay mild citrus hops. A little orange and tangerine. Dry finish. Semi crisp. Not bad - one of the better cask lagers I’ve had.

On gravity at the Christmas Beer Festival, The Volunteer, Bristol 15/12/2012. Straw coloured with a decent, white head. Light hay, apricot and grassy hop aroma. Easy drinking, with cereal malts, more fruit and a decent, bitter finish. Fine.
