Draft glass @ Billie’s Bier Kafetaria. Dark orange creamy white head. Nose is strangely sour which it shouldn’t be, spoiled passion fruit peer, low lemon, almost lactic malt. Taste is spoiled sourish passionfruit & peach, lemonade, almost sour malt, not very sour but there is some odd almost lemon quality to this, big fermenting fruit, sour dough, tropical fruits. Body is spoiled fruits, lactic, juice. Very strange, surely this couldn’t have been what they were going for. This is almost like a partially decent Berliner Weisse. I don’t which West Coast they were refering to when they called this a West Coast IPA but it sure as hell wasn’t the USA West Coast. This taskes like it would have worked better as an ingredient in a coctail.

On keg at the Red Squirrel. Appearance - hazy golden with a decent head. Nose - tropical and citrus. Taste - oranges and apricots. Palate - light to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - luscious.

330ml bottle @ Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours a hazed orange, good white head. Aroma is vibrant passionfruit, lightly syrupy. Taste has prominent passionfruit syrup, lime, pine.. comes across a little too juicy and unbalanced.

Bottle @ home. Very hazy almost opaque orange color, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, citrus, hops in there for sure but they’re a bit overpowered by citrus and citrus peel. Average to decent body and carbonation. Meh. Not great. Too much citruspeel tart-bitter.

330ml bottle from Beerritz. Hazy golden amber colour with a white foam head leaving lacing. Nose has biscuity malt and passionfruit. Taste is dusty malt with tart tangy citrus, some passionfruit and woody bitterness. Medium bodied, soft to medium bodied, dry bitter finish. Quite OK.

Bottle shared on Level 42 15/08/2016. Many thanks to Paul for this one. A hazed dark orange coloured pour with a a lose off white head. Aroma is zesty lemon, lime, salt, herbal. Passion fruit. Flavour is composed tangy lemon, salt, juicy lime, zippy lime. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation, grainy. Interesting. I like it
