Near black with a small tan head. Aroma of massive chocolate fudge upfront, heading more into boozy port, chocolate, overripe fruit, licorice, oak, alcohol, chocolate brownies and caramel. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle. Color: Almost black, very thin geige head. Aroma: Roasted malt, chocolate, overwhelmed by sweetish Port. Taste: Roasted malt, chocolate, dark dried fruit, liquorice notes. Slightly overwhelmed by nice sweetish, almost too sweet, Port and vanilla notes. Sticky. Medium to over medium sweetness. Over medium body, below average carbonation. Sweetish, fruity Port-like finish with moderate hopbitterness.

Bottle sampled @ Craft Beer Helsinki, Oljenkorsi backyard. Poured pretty much black in color with a brown head. Vanilla and sweetness, nice port notes in aroma and flavor. Full bodied, with vanilla, some wood and port. Light tobacco and roastedness. Solid.

Almost opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth palate, a little soft, reasonable fine carbonation. Soft dark malts, sweetish, some slightly candyish dark chocolate. A soft, almost cinnamon like spice. The Tawny Port barrel presents with a soft and slightly tangy vanilla. Smooth ripe fruits, rich and soft with a mild red and black berry overlay. Soft but slightly tangy finish. A mild alcohol spice lingers on. A rich and rewarding effort this but quite ripe.

330ml bottle. Metallic, a bit thin but heavy with some roastiness, loads of vinous port notes, some wood and plums. Okay.
