Brewed as a special version for Pressklubben in 2019, the new recipe turned out so successful that the brewery decided to stick with this new version.

F: big, tanned, good retention. C: black, opaque. A: dark malts, vinous, dark fruits, coffee, cocoa, raisins. T: dark malts, chocolate, cocoa, warming alcohol, raisins, toffee, honey, very nice balanced sweet and bitter roasted tones, I like it, full body and lively carbonation with slow gusher! 33 cl bottle from Prik&Tik Kampenhout bottle shop in Belgium.

28 July 2018. At 't Brugs Beertje. Cheers to Anke!
Pours cloudy black with a lasting, small, yellowish beige head; little lacing. Intense aroma of praliné, cherries drenched in liqueur, fondant, chocolate powder & cake, blueberry, coffee liqueur, dried prune, candied orange. Medium malty sweet onset with a chocolatey accent, and light fruity sour, hints of cherry & berry, fruit & chocolate cake, praliné, some wild yeast too. Light roasted bitterness in the middle, hint of black coffee, already warming up. Dryish, sour (dark) fruity finish, toasty fondant, herbal hops and warming liqueur alcohol. Medium body, slick/oily texture, soft carbonation. Nice sour accents here, lovely sipper, although the palate could have been thicker.
