0.33l bottle. Very dark brown body with a beige head that only leaves a rim by the side of the glass. Aroma and taste of nutmeg, cocoa, bourbon, plums, orange zest and dark sugar. Quite alcoholic, but you kinda expect this from a 13% ABV beer. Definitely nice beer though.

Bottle. Dark amber color. Malt, dried fruit and a hint of vanilla in the aroma. Malty sweet boozy flavor with dried red fruit and vanilla. Hint of oak in the finish. The bourbon is hard to spot, I ca’t really believe this beer has spent a year in bourbon barrels. Drinkable but lacks complexity.

hazy brown colour with some reddish hue, practically no head at all, only some minimal off-white lacing; aroma of prune, chocolate, cherry bonbon made with cognac, biscuits, bourbon notes and slight apple; taste of dark chocolate, dried cherry, some prune, hints of anise, medicinal and bourbon notes; obviously it is not a la trappe oak aged quad but anyway, it is still enjoyable

Bottle from koht. Pours dark brown. Aroma is sweet, sugar, malt. Flavor is sweet and malty, booze, some bitterness, sugar, chocolate, roast, fruits. Overalll: okish, way too much booze and sugar, hard to finish 0.33L bottle alone.

33 cl bottle served in snifter at Beerhouse, Madrid. It pours very dark brown with some reddish highlights, virtually no head. Aroma is boozy and sweetish: molasses, caramel, roasted coffee. Taste is, again, boozy, somewhat sweetish (again) and neither very slick nor very long-lasting, despite it's being so strong. Disappointing.
