St-Louis Premium Framboise is based on a lambic and contains juice from Willamette raspberries. This sweet raspberry beer tastes delicious on a sunny day and is a perfect beer for anyone who doesn’t like strong beers.

First sip caught me off guard, almost had a vinegar aftertaste.

Bottle from Beers of Europe, Kings Lynn. Pours dark ruby red with a bubbly pink head. Aroma & taste: light tart, sweet syrupy raspberries, raspberry jam, candy. Medium body, foamy carb, sweet fruity finish. One dimensional sweetness but it's inoffensive

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - deep plummy red. Nose - sweet raspberries. Cordial level of concentration. Taste - more sweet raspberries with a slight sour undertang from the lambic base beer. Palate - light bodied, sweet in the middle and then dry and tangy on the finish. Overall - good.

F: thin, off-pink, quick gone. C: very dark ruby red, clear. A: thick red berries with sugar, raspberries, bit cherries, grenadine. T: sweet ascorbic raspberries, red fruits, syrupy sweet, medium to full sweet body, medium carbonation, bit lemon, this is not for my taste, not good at all, 25cl bottle from Rob The Gourmets' Market in Brussels.

375 ml bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours fairly crystal clear deep ruby red/amber/copper color with a 1-2 finger dense light pink head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big juicy/tart/tangy raspberries, cherry, plum, blackberry, red apple, red grape, fruit jam/skin/seeds, hay, grass, wheat, bread, candi sugar, light pepper/funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of raspberries, fruity yeast, and malt/sugar sweetness; with great strength. Taste of big juicy/tart/tangy raspberries, cherry, plum, blackberry, red apple, red grape, fruit jam/skin/seeds, hay, grass, wheat, bread, candi sugar, light pepper/funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness, fruit tang, and light yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of sour/tart/tangy raspberries, cherry, plum, blackberry, red apple, red grape, fruit jam/skin/seeds, hay, grass, wheat, bread, candi sugar, light pepper/funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of raspberries, fruity yeast, and malt/sugar sweetness; with an awesome malt/sour/tart/tangy fruit balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Touch of puckering sourness. Light-moderate increasing dryness from sour/tart/tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/acidic/tangy/tannic, and slightly slick/syrupy balanced mouthfeel that is awesome. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 2.8%. Overall this is an outstanding sweetened fruit lambic! All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of raspberries, fruity yeast, and malt/sugar sweetness; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly acidic/tangy/drying finish. Tons of authentic jammy raspberry fruit presence with balanced sweetness. Not as funky on the yeast as expected, but still highly enjoyable. A lot more acidity from the fruit, leading to a drier finish than other sweetened lambics I've had.

Bottle. Raspberry, sour milk, malt, light vinegar, and musty hay aroma. Reddish brown with minimal head. Moderately sweet raspberry, malt, lightly sour vinegar/lactic acid, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Good body. Like the other sweetened fruit lambics.
