Bottle 0.375l at home, Nivala. Thanks to... sorry I have to check it later. Color is cloudy golden with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Fruits, citrus, dryness, some sourness, some tropical fruits and some sweetness. Easy but interesting. Little bit of soapy.

Bottle shared in MV. This bottle is at least three years old (I think). Pours totally clear orangeish gold with a small, foamy topping that fades away quickly. The aroma is almost pure pickle juice, with some lemony accents on the edges. Light sweet flavour with very quick, sharp acidity, a little lemon juice, more pickle juice/vinegar, some salt, a little sweat. Light bodied with spritzy, massaging carbonation. Clean finish, super quenching, a bit dry, with more pickle sauce, tart lemon, salt, a little grassy note. This is really fun stuff. I would imagine a lot of people wouldn’t like it, but as someone who really, actually enjoys pickle juice, this is right up my alley.

Bottle. Pours very light yellow, with a big creamy head. Aroma is tart funky notes, with hay, ginger, tea, citrus and some grassy, salty whiffs of sea side. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is tart, with lactic notes, funky notes of tea, hay and light citrus and grassy notes. Quite a strange one, but balanced and quaffable.

Bottle from Huis van de Geuze. Hazy yellow colour, creamy foam. Lots of carbonation. Nose of green apple, barnyard, kombucha. Tart and lemony taste. Sour. Balance is ok. Nice.

Bouteille 37.5cl, merci Pierre. Dorée sur léger trouble, col blanc. Arôme met bien en avant le côté feuilles vertes de thé, petit rétro doux, sucre résideul. Palais centré sur les agrumes, thé vert, citornné et citron vert, sucre résiduel avec une petite amertume. Le lambic reste nettement plus cache. Le tout est simple prenant un fini radler.

THANK YOU Kraddel. Long time want. 750 ml. bottle sampled @ “The RARE Tasting”. Hazy golden, creamy white head. Nose is super milky with massive funk, raw, barn, raw lemon, vinegar, raw intense strange funk. Very milky vinegary taste, basic lactic & lemon sourness, lightly watery, lactic, very straightforward sourness. Funk is massive & strange but otherwise it is surprisingly very straightforward, funk is largely in the nose, very lactic sourness, very strong in the finish with vingar. Pretty decent, can pass for a decent USA sour.

Pours unclear yellowblonde, nearly no head. Smell is funky, some spice-like aspects ( guess its the tea) Taste is funky, very dry, sour, some lactic sourness, sourness isn’t too well balanced or complex though. the tea shines trough in a very herbal, spiced way. Nice, but not great to me.

Bottle, at Novare Res, Portland, Maine. A hazy, pale golden beer with a small, off-white head. The aroma is fresh and lightly fruity, with some lemony sourness. Lemon, some funk, leather and barnyard in the flavor, it’s tart, thin and pleasantly carbonated. Long fruity and lightly sour finish. Very refreshing this one, quenching and quite flavorful. 150609
