Golden with a white head - Malt aroma with some yeasty tones - Malt body with a sweet flavour and alcohol heat - The malt goes into the finish - This was special and quite nice

On tap. Pours a clear copper color with no head. Aromas of dull dried fruit and toasted malts. Flavors of dried apricot, caramel malts and earthy yeast. Alcohol on the finish. Odd mix but not bad.

Bottle thanks to KansaiBeerLvrs. Pours a clear orange color with almost no head. A big pungent citrus rice nose. Perfume, hot unpleasant notes, bready, lots of bready sweet notes. This is fine. Odd one, but OK.

Bottle from Miles who said his was foul, so foul no one could drink it. This one looked fine when opened. Opaque orange with a yeasty fruit aroma. the taste is earthy, clay, yeasty plum. Strange but alright.

Bottle. Weird brown-orange cloudy and flat. Nose is rice, koji funk, peaches, oranges, estery. Big koji flavor, dusty, but funky, something like Shaoxing wine, tart and fruity. An interesting hybrid that needs a little more work but is fun.

Gylden brun klar med lavt hvitt skum som raskt forsvinner helt. Lukter trevirke, appelsinskall, blomster. Smakes sitrusig, alkohol, noe røkt, brent karamell. Får Sake følelse over hele brygget, både lukt og smak. Uten kullsyre.

Bouteille 50cl, batch# 1423, brewed on 04.05.2015. Ambre sans col, pas spécialement ok au visuel. Arôme au nez épais, boozy, caramel, fruit concentré orange fermentée - peut être du riz. Le tout offre un bouquet sur lequel je n’arrive pas à me prononcé avec un mélange de fruité, et alcool pas spécialement super. Palais est épais avec un alcool très devant rappelant presque un sake. Ce collant est résiduel et se complète par un léger fleuri houblonné. Petite touche de noisette, malt grillé, orange confise avec une sorte de fini levure belge au relent riz. Au final, pas arrivé à finir la bouteille.

Bottle - Sticky stone fruit, marmalade and some koji yeasty notes. Cloudy copper with no head. Stone fruit and tons of starchy yeast notes. Bit of heat in the throat. Although the Koji is there, I am not sure it should be,
