This is a "hybrid" (and not stylish) between an Imp. IPA & Imp. Stout.

Superficial festival rating at DØE - Ølfestival København 2017. Unclear brown body with a medium sized beige head. Aroma has light roasted dark malt, citric fruit and hint of chocolate. Flavor is medium sweet roasted malt, some citric fruit and quite bitter. Fine body and nice, long lasting aftertaste. A very nice and solid BIPA

21/I/17 - 33cl bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck (Vichte), shared @ post-DvdK-opening-tasting - BB: 1/II/18 (2017-77)
Clear dark reddish brown beer, small irregular beige head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: pretty roasted, sweet, caramel, dried fruits. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: very bitter start, coffee, roasted, dried fruits, hoppy bitterness. Aftertaste: very roasted, bitter and hoppy, sweet, caramel, alcohol, dried fruits, some coffee. Nice one! Way more stout than ipa.
