33cl Bottle from Vonk. Murky golden colour, soapy white head. Looks ugly. Aroma is very fruity, mango, passion fruit, peach, citrus, nettles. Flavour is medium sweet, very hoppy, fruity, mango smoothie, peach, citrus, light hop sting, soft bitter finish. Medium bodied, smooth. Really nice.

0.33 l bottle from 'Ace Drinks', best before February 2019. Murky, amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Slightly sweetish, intensely fruity and slightly grassy aroma of passion fruit, pineapple and some lemon. Slightly sweet, rather fruity, juicy and slightly grassy taste of pineapple, passion fruit and some lemon, followed by a short, minimally bitter, slightly grassy finish with quite a hop burn. Thin to medium body, smooth, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Looks pretty ugly, flavours are nice though. Still not quite there yet, but more true to style than Kees' NEIPA.

Pours unclear, yeasty blonde. Small, rather unstable white head. Smell is fruity, intensely yeasty. Medium creamy. Taste is full, creamy, yeasty. Bitter. OK. Average tasting beer, but in essence this represents everything wrong with craft beer. Adding a shitload of yeast to an average IPA to make it hazy , is pretty damn far from what a hazy IPA / new england should be. This is just a jump on the hype train, without having the knowledge, or decent recipe, to do so. Pretty much done with these 'look, I can do this too' beers...

Slightly murky looking gold beer, small.cream colour head. Palate is light, fairly dry and a fine crispness. Light malts, moderately sweet and a little dry. Sharpish orange hops, good blood orange. Little pink grapefruit and a touch of lemon. Punchy tropical fruits bring things to a slightly bitter and spicy finish. Good job. Kees really understands this style and gets a complex fruity array from it every time.

33cl bottle from Boxbeers. BBE 02/2019. Poured hazy orange juice color with a thin white head. Tropical fruity aroma, some mango and peachy notes. Juicy, sweet fruity hoppy flavors, the usual suspects in NEIPAs. not much bitterness, mild floral, grapefruity finish. Excellent drinkability. Nice body. Lovely NEIPA.
