750 ml bottle. Slightly unclear golden body with a nice, lacing off-white head. Quite strong aroma of apple cider, wood and some alcohol. Flavor is like a bit weird combination of cider, wood, sugar and perfumed alcohol. Medium body and aftertaste in the same direction. Not really bad, but feels to unbalanced with the oak aged flavor in this kind of beer for my likings.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a orangey head. The aroma has notes of wood, cognac, over ripe fruits, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of wood, over ripe fruits, alcohol, cognac, and caramel, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.

Bottle at a tasting. Quite lots of green apples, really too much. Impairing the drinkability. Otherwise there is a really promising vanilla raisin baileys-like rest of the beer. Good just needs to get rid of the annoying apples.

750 ml bottle from my EU Local Swap 3/2015 sender Anatole, many thanks!
Deep orange, hazy body, with a medium, frothy, yellowish head.
Aroma of apples, cognac, barrel, caramel, nuts, spices.
Taste follows this, with additional alcohol burn
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes alcohol warming, with cognac, apples and barrel notes.

Interesting. Nice apple notes, together with sweet malt notes. Too alcoholic for my taste though. Overall a unique, characterful beer, but could be more balanced.
