Beer Table To Go, Grand Central Terminal, NYC tap: pours black with a small beige head. Aroma is curry, tamarind, coconut, chocolate, and malt. Taste is a bit peppery from the peppers. Bit sweet and very spicy. Drank this along with some Indo-Chinese food. Worked pretty welll not surprisingly. Weird and worth having.

On tap at Ashley’s Ann Arbor. Very deep brown pour with an off-white head. Aroma is coconut, lime, green curry, roasty. Flavor of kaffir lime, general Thai green curry flavors, light but definite chili, and a light roastiness. I love this, but how much anyone else likes it will depend on how much they want to drink a Thai green curry (not the spicy kind) as a beer.

Shared 22 oz. bottle. Dark brown, tan head. Curry and cumin dominate the aroma, with some faint coconut notes as well. Taste: overpowering curry and cumin, some lime, a bit of coconut. Some malt is there but takes a backseat to everything else. Spicy cayenne finish that warms the tongue and throat. Interesting and unique, but for me, the flavors don’t work very well in combination with beer.

BIG thanks for the bottle. 650 ml. bottle sampled. Dark brown. Nose is hugely sweet, plenty of coconut, lime, spices, sugar, toffee & malt sweetness, sticky & awesome. Taste is hugely sweet chocolate, curry, coconuts, caramel, candy, toffee, spices, nice chili heat, coffee. Thick & sticky. Every bit as awesome as I hoped that it would be.

Black colored, small to medium tan head. Aroma is very strong curry and spicy cuisine, coconut. Taste some caramel, bit of roasted malts and chocolate, coconut but mostly just the curry and other spices, quite hot and spicy. Dry roasted finish, some heat. Medium to full bodied, moderate carbonation. Everlasting spiciness. If you want a curry beer this is your beer. Me, I’m waiting for a seafood paella flavored one ffs...

Into a tulip showing pitch black with a finger of latte colored foam. The nose shows only the spices from a typical Indian curry with a moderate intensity. (there is literally no other way to describe such) The palate shows exactly the same flavors with a big chili pepper spiciness/heat that lasts until the finish accompanied by a slight, barely noticeable coffee bitterness. Big and full bodied, drinks like a typical stout. Very interesting and very well pulled off but I honestly can’t drink this every day.
