Thor Is My Co-Pilot is the first in a series of Lactose Double IPAs. Brewed with loads of milk sugar and CTZ, Citra, Mosaic & Simcoe hops, it's got a juicy, fruity, citrusy hop character and then a slightly sweet, creamy finish.

Can. Hazy yellowish gold beer, small bubbly cream colour head. Palate is light and fairly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Thin dry malts, just a modest sweetness. Piney intro to the hops which present a bitterish passion fruit and citric peel. A modest amount of tropical fruits. Crisp and semi dry finish. Tasty but thin and slightly sharp.

Hazy golden pour with a white head. Notes of orange zest, melon, unripe pineapple, lime, unripe apricots. Well-balanced, deliciousness. Right up my alley.

Can picked up from Speciaalbierpakket, Leiden, Netherlands drinking this sat outside at home Attenkirchen Saturday 18th April 2020, on day 31 of CORVID-19 enforced lockdown, we are cooking White Bean, Grilled Pepper and Mozzarella burgers with a Fresh Tomato Relish also doing Smoked Carrot and Carroway Dip with Crispbread we're listening to Fonda Mentalism - Funk and Soul Show on 6Music it's yet another glorious day but hurrah we have had a heavy rain shower, the first rain for about 2-3 weeks! Pours yolky yellowy with a large white head, really murky. Much like the previous beer that I had from these guys, this gets over the usual NEIPA flaws (*in my opinion) by throwing a wheelbarrow full of hops into every can. You forget the usual juicy, smooth, creamy etc stuff because the hops are actually offering a discernible bitterness here they're that hot. It's got a good tropical, citrus interplay going on and some sweet onion marmalade. These guys have taught me that NEIPAs can be stunningly good.

0.473 l can from 'Speciaalbierpakket.nl'. Hazy, straw yellow with a thin, fluffy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, fairly fruity and a little dank aroma of mango, passion fruit, pineapple and a touch of onions. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, rather fruity and slightly juicy taste of pineapple, passion fruit and mango, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a little herbal-resiny with quite some hop burn. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant beer, not too heavy on the lactose and nicely fruity-juicy.

Medium thickness, very hoppy and a bit bitter. Grapefruit, citrus and tropical fruit. Decently juicy. Not bad at all, but a bit samey.

Super unstable foam, big bubbles. Decent thickness. Lactose there, but subtle. Biig dose of hops, fairly bitter, some peach, grapefruit and mango. Pretty nice, but not really distinguishing. Solid enough for sure, but not one of Drekkers crazier ones.

16 oz can from Tavour. Hazy yellow golden pour, ring of head. Light fruity aroma, citrus and stone fruit. Taste brings light citrus, smooth and velvety body, creamy textures and a light sting. Gentle for a DIPA.

$4.70 pint can, WW. Slightly hazy pale gold with a small white head. Floral hops, citrus nose; slightly perfumey. Flavor is pine, citrus peel, floral hops, rye?, lemon zest, milk sugar, slightly rotting onion. I don't dislike this, but I'd never seek it out.

Can. A- Citrus, dank. A- Yellow color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Citrus, dank, grassy, mild bitterness. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- I always question lactose in an IPA but this worked. Made the beer smooth and creamy and cut back on the bitterness. Not necessarily juicy or NEIPA like, just a creamier beer. Love the name and the can artwork. Beer was decent.
