Canned. Hazy goldeny orange colour with a small white creamy head. Aroma is grains, some bready notes along with some herbs, fruits and mild grass. Flavour is grassy, herbal, some bready and mild grainy notes. Quite thin palate.

# 811; 7/2017. S označením pils bych byl trochu opatrný, ale jako pivo povedený. Výrazně ovocný (mandarinka), kořenitý pivo.

Sample at SBWF 2018. Hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma and taste of bread, grass and some hints of perfume. Thin and boring.

Fourpure's interpretation of a classic German Pilsener, thanks Trevor for sharing at Billie's Bierkafetaria during the Fourpure tap takeover. Snow white, creamy, stable head over a clear, warm 'old gold' coloured beer. Aroma of soggy breakfast cereals, grass, camomile, white bread, field flowers, dough. Sweetish cereally onset, bit doughy, minerally, straightforward but well-measured cereally pale malt middle with a light plaster-like accent leading to a surprisingly hoppy finish, 'noble' in the classic sense of the word, pleasantly bittering, floral and peppery, very quenching. Well done within its style, beats more than one actually German Pilsener thanks to its confident hop bitterness and soft maltiness.

33oml can: BBD 17th Aug 18. Poured into one of my lovely old 'Veltins' stemmed tulip glasses at home on 11th May 18. Pale golden body, bright, clean and clear; on top a full snow white crown of foam. Floral hop aroma and a pleasant hop front to the taste. One of the best UK brewed Pilsner/Lagers I have had.

Can on the train. A pleasant German style pils, with plenty of malt and a true "German flavour" to the beer. Chunky, a bit of interest on the palate and very tasty. It's not spectacular, but it is a solid interpretation of the style and a pleasant beer.

Boks delt med Ovesen på Holmens aktivitetsdag: klar, lys strågul med ok skum. Citrus, lys malt og friske urter - en lys og meget lettdrikkelig terrassepils denne flotte maidagen. Mild, floral bitterhet i ettersmaken.
