Snörkel was brewed with alderwood smoked sea salt and oyster mushrooms takes inspiration from the classic German "Gose" style. Like a traditional Gose, Snörkel is moderate in alcohol and has some acidity, but you won't find the savory, umami flavor of oyster mushrooms in any German version!

Bottle - Lots of green apple on the nose and a little acidity. Hazy gold with a thin head. Briney, salty and apple vinegar notes. Not bad, but not a successful Gose like beer.

750 ml. sampled @ Maldegem tasting. Thanks for this long time want. Batch #2. 23/06.2014 bottled on. Orange, yellow. Nose is lactic, Berliner sour, mineral, faintly puckering, light fruits & mineral,… Taste is blue cheese, Berliner lactic, puckering, light earthly mushrooms, mineral in the back, faint salt, touch earthly mushrooms, rather lactic,… Tad creamy lactic,… Decent but nowhere near as expressive or weird as I expected. Decent brew for sure still.
