My #2500.
Jan. ’16. A 0.33 l bottle, thanks Marko and lutonm! It poured a hazy honey amber with a small head. Very light lemony aroma, some weak malt, too. Flavor was lightly yeasty. That’s pretty much all. Lighhtly bitter in the finish. High carbonation typical for the thin bodied style. Fine, although light, that chalky yeast note was pleasant, as well as the aroma. Also, ticking for a rerate just for the chance this was better fresh.

Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him and heavy. Stored in Marko’s fridge for more than a year or even longer. Dark golden/amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, some caramel in the nose. Moderate malty, grainy, light fruity and touch of spices with slightly acidic finish. Lively carbonation.

So, this was the first commercial ex-Yu saison, and it came from Kosovo. Enormous thanks to luttonm and I’m guessing ippopotamo for this. This waited for ages for heavy to finally get his ass to Zagreb again, so yeah, shared with him and ogivlado. Yay! :D Hazy honeyish amber body with a medium sized head. Aroma... actually still fresh, grainy, malty, appley, fresh fruity aroma really, quite nice. The taste... less so... slightly meaty yeasty taste... which disappears thankfully relatively fast, vaguely vinuous saison yeast note too, slightly soapy. Ok, light drinkable saisonoid, nothing thrilling, nothing offensive, nothing memorable apart from its existence.

0,33 on tap at City Pub in Peje/Pec-Kosovo. Proper glass pairing, very well poured (first outcome thrown). Bravo! Pours unclear orange color, small white head a bit adhesive. Nose: peers, some apples, a bit of sweet apricot jam. Light notes of dyacetil but in an acceptable measure. Mouth: medium carbo, a bit flat but not boring. Some pepper, a bit of caramel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330 ml. bottle sampled @ “Brazilian Tasting”. Thank you tderoeck! BBF 22.06.2015. Clear amber, little to no head. Nose is oily, very thin, oxidized, sweet sugar, thin oily,… Taste is oily, vegetable, big vegetable oil, flat, oxidized, cooked, vegetables, sugar,… Thin, oily, vegetable oil,… Not good but oddly not in train-wreck territory.

33cl bottle courtesy of and shared with Tderoeck and 77ships. BB 22/06/2015, this is no saison, let it be known.

22/V/15 - 33cl bottle from a trade @ Brazilian Tasting (home) - BB: 22/VI/15 (2015-664) Thanks to markoijelena for the trade!
Clear copper orange beer, aery white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: malty, bit oxidized, caramel, sweet. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: pretty oxidized, bitter, very malty, some citrus. Aftertaste: caramel, sweet malts. Meh. Definitely not a saison. Maybe a bit like a bad Palm or Dekoninck beer.
