Big flavor, intense pine and citrus aromas dominate this brew. We keep the malt profile clean in this Imperial IPA to let the love lights shine on the fine NW hops.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; hazy light copper pour with a frothy off white head, malt and pine aroma, taste has light pine, mango, taste is not as hop forward as I’d like what is there is pine and tangerine, sweet caramel, bitter grapefruit.

Bottle @ home. Hazy light orange color, medium sized white to off-white head. Aroma is malts, hops, oranges, pine. Taste malts, hops, a hint of orangepeel, lightly resin, quite some pine and spruce and piney bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Not as fruity as you might expect, but I like those piney bitter ones.

650 ml. bottle sampled @ Firestone Walker Tasting. Thank you! Hazy orange, creamy white. Nose is substantial yeast presence, thick, citrus, honey. Taste is honey, medicinal hop, muted dough, citrus peel, med. bitter. Tad yeasty body. Could have used more outspoken hop-character here & less yeast, cleaner, decent.

Clear orange beer, creamy off-white head, little stable, non adheisve. Aroma: lots of honey, sweet, some orange peel. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: fruity start, some honey, sweet malts, citrus, very bitter, bit of caramel, hoppy. Aftertaste: sweet malts, honey, bitter, citrus, grassy, very fruity, some passion fruit. Nice stuff!

Bottle from The Beer Junction, Seattle
Beautiful color, bright light amber, hazy, with medium sized compact head. The aroma is not expressive, it has some malt and hops but it’s a bit stale. Good body strength, smooth mouthfeel; lean pale malts flavor, again not expressive, with very strong bitterness, woody bitterness too, some resins and not much fruity character.
Disappointing.

Hazy gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and airy, fine carbonation. The malt is clean, as promised on the label, and is slightly sweet with a touch of cream. Hops are spicy pine. Some drying alcohol aniseed, but no real heat. Touch of citrus before a semi dry finish. Decent and drinkable.

Golden colour. Strong citrus and pine in the aroma and flavour. Feels quite smooth and rich. Alcohol is well hidden.
