Near black beer coming up under near-explosive gushing to huge head, gone as fast. Very fruity, earthy, dark leaves and coffee dregs, spicey background. Pure cold coffee in the taste, very roasted. Ever so slight sourish background. Surprisingly full-bodied despite the roasted barley hints, and quite refreshing too. Very good stout. Pity about the gushing - lost about 1/4 of the bottle this way!
