330 ml. bottle sampled @ home. Bottled on 03-09-2010. BBF 03-09-2015. GUSHER – bottle says pour slowly – lol. Hazy near murky orange, nasty floaters, little head. Nose is aspirin, oxidation, bad madeira, rotting orange peel, old yeast. Taste is medicinal dried orange peel, dry herbal, lots of medicine, fizzy, sings of oxidation, bad madeira, overly carbonated, lots of old yeast,…. The usual works for a bad, old, whatever Belgian. Def. not the worst in the category.

Gushing to huge, very fine & dense, just off-white head, clear golden beer, end of bottle solid yeast. Very malty, toasted, caramel, honey - definitely sweet. A maltbomb. Yeast turns (even the nose) more spicy. Again malt/honeyflavours (honingbollen ). The yeast makes it near-bitterish, spicy. Bit sticky, not too much, but it might have some more carbonation (seems the gushing dispersed all the CO²). Not bad by my standards, if certainly a bit too sweet.
