Tap at Mr. Brews. Bright apricot citrus aroma. Big foamy white head on top of a filtered but slightly hazy orange-tan body. Easy on the palate. Lots of light, fruity hops. Apricot, guava, pink grapefruit. Solid West Coast hop feel. Malts are simple, a touch of butter. Easy going, session IPA flavors (Simcoe), but the body of a 7% beer. Good. OK.

66cl bomber from Total Wine, Tampa.

Courtesy of sebletitje. West Coast IPA with lacing, snow white head, breaking in instants; colour a hazy yellow blonde with greenish hue. Aroma of lemon zest, orange, flowers, white bread, pepper, spruce, green tea, grapefruit peel. Crisp, vivid fruity onset, sour berries, apple peel and starfruit, spritzy carbo, smooth light bready maltiness, early, somewhat ’green’ feeling hop bitterness, citrussy in a lime blossom kind of way, bit piney, spicy and herbal, gently bittering, drying but malt sweetness still peeps through. Subtle, zesty IPA with elegant profile but perhaps a bit too much emphasis on the hops and not enough on the malts, could do with some more malt body, to my taste at least.

Thanks to sebletitje! 660 ml. bottle sampled. Hazy orange, creamy white… Nose is odd, oregan, pepper, spices, light plastic, lemon hops with some light yeast, quite odd & not entirely to my preferences. Taste is oregano, yeast, gram cracker, plastic, bitter yeast,… Spices,… Yeasty body. Just about okay, rather odd & not entirely to my preferences.

Taste: pretty dry, grassy, herbal, hoppy, very bitter, little chemical, fruity touch, pretty resinous. Aftertaste: bitter, hoppy, some citrus, almost chemical, fruity touch.

Bomber. Pours a clear orange color with a medium white head. A big sweet tea and citrus nose. The flavor is more tea, huge resinous citrus hops, rich biscuit, certainly showcases both simcoe and Nugget’s more green bitter flavors. Very damn nice. So smooth.

Pours hazy burnt orange color with off white hear. Floral and resinous aromas with some caramel and citrus. Similar flavors with moderate bitterness. Medium body with average carbonation.

Bottle from Brewery Creek, Vancouver
Hazy golden to light amber color with medium sized compact head. Not aroma and flavor show some crackery malt and cereals; strong bitterness, some hop resins, but the hop fruitiness is not very present.
Tastes like old beer. But the best-before date is not to be seen on the bottle, so screw the brewery.
Expensive.

On tap into a shaker showing a finger of clean white foam and well filtered translucent but deep caramel. The nose shows moderate intensity of tropical fruit (i.e. pineapple, mango), along with a nice sweet red apple bitterness and slight hints of cannabis. The palate shows very well balanced carbonation yet smooth with a medium to full body. Good fruit forwardness with slight steel tank notes and a standard sharp IPA bitterness at the finish. Have to admit, this is a really fun IPA.
