29/XI/19 - sample @ Billies Craft Beer Festival 2019, BB: n/a - (2019-1998) Thanks to all for sharing today’s beers!

Aroma: oh yes, funky, brett, peppery. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice acidity, clean, brett, funky, lemon peel, soft tannins, very nice. Aftertaste: peppery, dry, hoppy touch, pretty fruity, nice!

Pours unclear blonde, small white head. Smell is very absent. Taste is full, very sharp, tart. Acetic acid, intensely dry. Not much grape aroma. Bit dissapointing after being such a fan of the bottled version.

Draft @ BxlBeerFest 2019 - day 2. Ambre-orange, léger col blanc. Arôme au nez fruité avec un bouquet légèrement fleuri e tout avec les notes de funk de lambic. Palais est assez sec, fruité raisin apportant un léger côté doux/sous-bois, effervescence est assez haute - note plus marquée de grains - meerts. Un cran en dessous de la version en bouteille, à voir si plus de temps en fût apporterait un changement de profil.

Hazy orange colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour are very citric and tart. Has a really acidic finish. Very dry, winey finish. Yeasty dryness too.

Draft @ BXL Beer Fest. Murky amber/reddish colour, no foam. Rather acidic, fruity and funky. Less well balanced than the bottled version but still very enjoyable.

BXL ‘19. Fairly hazy golden orange with a small off white head. Aroma of big dry cellar funk, cobwebs, vinous notes, oak and citrus. Flavour is above moderate sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
