Bottle, purchased at at Zythos 2017. Pours rather unclear blonde, big bubbles making the -originally medium sized- white head extremely unstable, and fading away completely within seconds. Smell is mostly malty, grainy, bit of hay. very mild yeast, no clear hops. Taste is full, rather sweet by the yeast, mild esthery. very natural, grainy maltyness, mild spice notes as well. The aftertaste is very intense, natural , special malts, very corny, bready, some gingerbread almost. Very nice. i love the complexity in the aftertaste ! the scent and actual taste though, are mediocer to me. An ok beer, but with a special cheers for the great aftertaste.

Bottle from LDW drinks, Eke. Golden colour, lots of foam. Lively carbonation. Citrussy with notes of lemon grass. Sweet, light bitter. Ok.

330 ml. bottle sampled @ 20ste Zomerbierfestival. Hazy orange with no head. Nose is odd Turkish candy, watery, a touch rotting fruit,… Taste is odd rotting orange peel, rotting spices, biscuit, off orange peel, watery,… Watery body. Doesn’t taste right. People really should stop making beers at ’t Gaverhopke. I am still not sure about d’Oude Maalderij, sometimes they make decent beers, sometimes things are good fresh & then I got an awful bottle + at times I get beers like this. I will hold off forming an opinion until they have their own brewery up & running.

Fast gone, off-white head over lazily bubbled, pale orangeish yellow beer, faintly veiled. White candi sugar, citrus, faintly liqueurish; spicy-yeasty notes. Bit watery, thin nose. More white candi sugar in the mouth, toast, faintly roasted sugary malts (crystal?); caramel and faint citrus/orange. Light body, bit undercarbonated. Watery feel, but more forceful, citrussy aftertaste. Oh well, but I vastly preferred the ID 18°b in its days...
