Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso propende per lo speziato. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata, permanendo in maniera sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma cremosa ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Il colore è giallo ramato. Il corpo è rotondo. La forza gustativa è elevata e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Il tetto della bocca riconosce impressioni di miele, frumento, un accenno di resinoso, spezie e frutta passita.

Dormaal Saison Lauwendries, 5,8 %, Fläschchen aus Tausch mit JefVerstraete. - Dunkelgoldgelb, leicht trüb; schöner dauerhafter Schaum. - In der Nase die typische, leicht parfümierte Note eines belgischen Bieres, die aber gekonnt mit zart rustikalen Zügen harmoniert, schön getreidig-süßes Malz und dezente, floral-süßliche Hopfung. - Antrunk weich getreidig hellmalzig mit deutlicher Süße, feiner floraler Hopfung, Anklängen an Heu und Zitronenschale und zarter, erfrischender Säure. Milder rezent. Im Abgang ganz zarte Säure, Anklänge an Rhabarber und milde aber ausreichende Hopfenherbe. - Originell komponiertes, leise rustikales und eine Spur zu süßes, dennoch sehr angenehmes Saison. Huge, dense, stable just yellowish head over fully hazy yellow beer with a green sheen. End of bottle solid yeast. "Beery" nose, lots of (pale) malts, some spicy hops. Garden weeds & herbs, bit raw. Bitterish, spicy, herbal on an all the same sweetish malty underbuild. Bit almondy; hints at kitchen herbs and pipe tobacco. Quite slick, light body, good carbonation. Bit easy, nothing really new nor exceptional.

(Draught at Le Barboteur, Brussels, 19 Oct 2022) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, spicy nose with bread, hay, citrus, herbs and grain. Malty, fruity taste with notes of bread, hay, grain, peaches and a mild herbal bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and refreshing saison. Nice one.

Thanks, Anke, for the bottle! Clear golden, stable, frothy, white head. Aroma of apple peel, unripe pear, yeast, soap, wheat, bread crust, honey. Taste has sweetish pear, apple & green banana; bread-malty & very yeasty body, plenty of phenolic spiciness. Grassy hoppy finish, dry yeast & unripe fruits. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Refreshing but not amazing.

Bottle at De Fiere margiet, Leuven. A pretty homely and honest Belgian saison. Not sure what else to add here as was just enjoying consuming.

5.8%. Dark golden colour with large bubbly head. Nice malty flavour with a fruity note of dark berries. Yeasty. Nice.

Flaska från No Science Webshop. Disig gyllengul vätska med mycket högt stabilt vitt skum. Jordig doft med höstlöv, örter, mogen banan, bubblegum, gräs, jäst- Stor kropp, vitt bröd, smak som doften annars. Ganska jordig och lite skitig smakbild. Saknar lite krispighet. Jag är kluven, vill gilla, det är mycket karaktär men njuter inte riktigt ändå. Ok+ iaf.

Hazy blond body. White head. Aroma of hops, fairly plain. Moderately bitter flavour. Well balanced.
