It’s the tropics, it’s bold with a rich malty backbone running through the middle of every mouthful.

330 ml can, from the brewery webstore. ABV is 5.2%. Clear deep golden colour, moderate to small white head. Aroma of malts, dust and fruity / citric hops. Citric flavour, fairly dry, earthy and resinous bitterness. Not too bad.

Somewhat disappointing, no real bitterness going on at all. Pours a clear, pale amber with a short-lived bubbly white head and a caramel malt aroma with a hint of tropical fruit going on. Mouthfeel is smooth but unlively, flavour is malt led with some mild fruit bitterness in the finish

330ml can from Aldi - Misty amber body, little white head. Malt forward nose and taste, a little fruitiness in the finish. Thick mouthfeel, quite nice indeed.

Can from Asda, BBE in 12 months. Pours dark gold, decent white head, quite sparkling in carbonation initially but that dissipates. Hoppy citrus aroma of pine, grapefruit, orange. These notes also come through in the flavour but its also quite malty to balance it. Moderate body and carbonation which is fine. There is a nice dry bitterness running through. Its very nice without having a wow factor.

Bottle from Morrison's, Leicester, drunk at home. Dark gold/amber with a large fluffy white head. Smells divine: pine, ripe tangerine and tropical fruits, with a light hoppy astringency. Taste is more malt-based than I'd expected. It's initially sweet with a bitterness nearer the finish. Bitter hops in the aftertaste with iced tea, papaya and metal. It's certainly decent.

Can. Nose is yeast, malt slight hops. Very amber looking. Taste is bread, dough, malt, red berry, toffee, marmalade. It's okish but very off style
