Bottle at home. Aroma is malt, bread, biscuit, soft herbal hops, mild ripe fruity notes, touch of nuts and caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Body is medium. Not what I’d call and IPA or even a Red IPA, but it’s a fairly enjoyable beer.

Draft. A dark amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of spices, hops, caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, spices, and hops, leading to a bitter finish. Lovely.

At a tasting, thanks, small slightly dense creamy off white head, clear darkish red color, candy aroma with some jammy notes and hints of roots and dirt, flavor of ripe fruits, flowery hints and a malty backbone, chocolate bitterness. Drinkable but not too great.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Vova. Amber. Aroma of malt, oxidation, caramel, stale chocolate, stale hops. Sweet flavor with caramel, stale hops, a bit of bitterness. Medium-bodied.

Bottle. Pours dark amber / brown, clear. Good white head. Smell is very malty, with a certain sweetness to it that isn’t really malty nor hoppy. Taste is sharp, has a certain ’age’ factor to it even though it’s rather fresh . Not the wet cardboard, but more like a barleywine-turned IPA. Decent, for sure, but I guess this style of beer is not 100% my thing. As in most dochter beers, they are Always so nice in quality, but most of them are simply the styles I do not like... Weird, how this keeps happening. Cheers to the idea, anyways, and to friendship in general !

Bottle at Plan B, Rotterdam, Netherlands, Saturday 26th September 2015 Grrrr.I had already rated this 20mins ago but just bloody deleted it grrrr.... Ok let’s see if I can remember my review. It poured reddy amber, really unusual nose it was really perfumey it was weird though like a washing conditioner interpretation of what a floral aroma should be, this rather tainted the flavour also which couldn?t escape the floralness. Ok. A5 A4 T7 P3 Ov12 3.1

Bottle shared at home. Lots of yeast sediment but pours a clean Amber with big off white head. Resinous hops, peach, grapefruit, light paint thinner but really very light under the resin. Quite sweet and syrupy malts, soft roasted notes, brown bread. Medium sweet and under medium bitter. Over medium bodied with creamy carbonation. Enjoyed it a lot, don’t get the low ratings at all.
