Very dark brown color with a minimal and quickly dissapearing off-white head. Aroma is vinous, notes of wood, light red fruits with a mild sourness. Flavor is toasty, sourish, wooden notes and some berries. Wooden notes in the final with a smooth and dense mouthfeel on palate.

Sampled at Vill & Syrlig 2015. Almost clear, reddish brown body with a beige head that almost immediately disappears to nothing. Aroma has vinegar, dry fruit, quite much malt and acidic berries. Flavor has strong, acidic fruit, vinegar, malt, hint of chocolate and light wood. Full bodied and long lasting acidic aftertaste. Definitively on the acidic side, but really pleasant.

Bottle sample @ ACBF 2015.

No head, deep chestnut-brown to Armenian brandy -coloured beer. Wood, woodstainer, fruitacids, intense and mystifying. Sour-lactic, milksugars, extremely balanced sour-sweet. Not very vinous, however. Very slick MF, alcoholwarmth; medium to better bodied, low carbonation. Wow. I say: wow. A true discovery.

Sampled bottled @ ACBF 2015. Apparently they only serve this beer at festivals. Deep dark brown amber with no head. Nose is heavy oxidized sherry, caramel, walnut with light paint thinner. Taste is mix of paint thinner and acetone, cherry, quite boozy, strong oxidation notes,… Flat & boozy. Not perfect but interesting esp. for people into vintage / oxidized beers which is how this tastes like for me. (Thanks for sharing people!!!)

Pitch black with some purple edges. half a finger head, fades fast. Really interesting nose. yes it gives off a lot of sour aromas but it has a merlot aroma, like a very quality dessert wine. Taste is also dessert wine. Merlot, port wine, cherry pie, some vinegar but a very nice balance. really enjoyable.
