Clear dark purple to brown beer, small creamy off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of bourbon notes, vanilla, alcohol, caramel, bit sweet. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: red fruits, pretty sour, alcohol, lemony, earthy, little bitter. Aftertaste: sourish, earthy, red sour berries, little bitter, alcohol.

Sample from bottle @ What’s Brewing, Stavanger. Pours dark brown with almost no head. Aroma is balsamic vinegar, wooden barrels, vanilla, berries, tobacco and lactic acid, as well as some malty notes. Medium body with no carbonation. Flavour is balsamic vinegar, tobacco, lactic acid and wooden bretty notes, as well as dark fruits and vanilla.

Bottle at RBNG-14. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is sourness, yeast, berries. Flavour is is yeast, berries, sourness, malt, alcohol, dried fruits, vinegar. A nice beer, but need more storage to be better in my opinion.

Sample from bottle at RBNAG 2014, Grand Tasting. Sourish aroma of brett and oak. Weird flavour, oaky woody and ? (missing comment). Despite the promising aroma, the flavour did not blow my socks off.

Shared from a bottle at the Grand Tasting, Fredrik 3.s Hall, RBNG-14. Dark coloured body with a reddish tint. Bare naked surface. Sour and sweet berries on the nose. Tart berries offset by oak vanilla and brown, mid-sweet malts. Lingering tart and sweet ending. Vinous. Well balanced. Quite enjoying. (Halden 15.02.2014).

From a shared 50cl bottle at RBNG-14. Pours dark brown without much head to speak of. Aroma of dark dried fruits, balsamic vinegar, dark red berries, raisins and some sour wooden notes. Sweet, sour and simply delicious. Lovely beer! (2014-02-15 - Grand Tasting, Fredriksten festning, Halden)

Bottle, at RBNG-14 Grand Tasting. An unclear, brown beer with a small, beige head. The aroma is rather vinegarish, with dried fruits and some caramel hints. Mostly sourish flavor too, with a really pleasant caramel and dried fruits hint. Full to medium body, soft and dry on the palate. Lasting finish with caramel and quite a lot of vinegar, in a nice way. Nice indeed. 140215

Pours dark brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, sourness, vinegar, caramel and berries. Taste is light to medium sweet and light to medium sour with a long sour and berries finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.
