A Barleywine-based Beerspirit with a beautiful amber color. It has scents of spices and moderately balsamic notes. The taste is elegant and well balanced, with a citrusy touch, a persistent and pleasantly acidic finish. It is excellent on its own or at the end of a meal... And mixed in a cocktail!

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Small head with short duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are rich caramel, spices, herbs, fruits, malt and has a nice warming finish.

Brun klar uten skum. Lukter nøtter, kanel, trevirke og noe anis. Fyldig. Søt, alkoholvarm. Oljete. Smaker brunt sukker, mørk sirup, noe kaffe, rosiner, portvin, bål, trevirke, urtebrennevin og nøtter. Lang. Testet også anbefalingen med en del øl og to dele tonic water. Funker

Bortimot klar brun helt uten skum. Lukter hostesaft, trevirke, lakris. Meget søt og fyldig og kjenner alkoholvarme. Smaker brunt sukker, sirup, rosiner. Kan minne om urtebrennevin, gammel dansk. Prøvde også varianten som produse ten selv anbefaler. 2/3 tonic water og 1/3 beermouth. Blir en litt frisker variant da.

On tap at Open Baladin Roma. Brown with no head. Caramel, cotton candy, toffee, some lime which was added, medium sweetness. No carbonation. Bitterish finish. Full bodied. Warming.

Cuivre, pas de col, le tout est finement huileux dorée au verre.
Arôme au nez malté avec un bouquet chargé en notes botaniques - le tout rappelant un peu un côté Jäger.
Palais oscille sur un côté vermouth espagnol - pointe d'acidité vineuse, cough sirup, épices et botaniques herbes, le tout est finement oxydé - gingerbread.
Plaisant en petit verre pour digérer.

Pours clear, darker amberbrown. no head, obviously. Smell is very intense, vermouth style indeed ! Dry, intense. Feels 'thicker' than vermouth. Taste is full, intense, bitter orange, gingerbread, thick bodied. Nice replacement for a spirit. Long lasting aftertaste. very interesting stuff !

Aroma: very herbal, spicy, sweet, caramel, spicy, lots of fenugreek, gingerbread, sweet and sugary, meh, don’t like it very much… MF: no carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet and sugary start, all gingerbread, fenugreek, cloves, way too sweet and sticky. Aftertaste: very spicy, caramel, alcohol, just a little though, weird enough. Not a fan of this drink...

Tasting @Open Baladin Roma. Color rame, leggermente torbida, schiuma assente. Al naso note di erbe, caramello, frutta sotto spirito, ossidazione. In bocca è dolce all'attacco, caramello, con chiusura amara di erbe e appena acidula. Corpo pieno, carbonazione assente. Uno spettacolo.
